RED ROSE COMMONS, LANCASTER, PA, February 10, 2006
Lancaster Online reports that birdwatchers are flocking to Goldenberg Group’s Red Rose Commons retail center in Lancaster, PA. “A duck from a continent away is causing a flap among bird-watchers at the wetlands next to the Red Rose Commons shopping center.”, reports Ad Crable of the Lancaster New Era. (see article).
The Goldenberg Group has taken special and ongoing pains to preserve and protect the wetlands on the retail center’s property. Apparently, this little guy has found a welcome respite in his wayward journeys.
”I’ve been birding since 1972 and it’s my first one,” says Robert Schutsky, owner of the Bird Treks bird-guiding service.”
