Kate works to keep The Goldenberg Group’s philanthropic arm strong throughout the Philadelphia area. Born and raised in Northwest Philadelphia, she attended Muhlenberg College where she double-majored in psychology and studio art, with a concentration in sculpture. Her years between college and graduate school were spent traveling, farming, bartending, and serving as a volunteer and associate board member for a children’s charity here in Philadelphia.
In 2016, she graduated from Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research with a concentration in Community Practice, Policy and Advocacy, and recently earned her Pennsylvania State Social Work License. Her field work includes direct hospice services, as well as food-access program development. She is eager to bring her knowledge and experience to the philanthropic efforts at The Goldenberg Group.
Fun Fact: Kate has worked on 10 different farms across the country, including Alaska.
